Art is emotional, because an artist lays their inner-self wide open for\u00a0professional\u00a0critiques and reviews,\u00a0as well as\u00a0the\u00a0opinions of\u00a0art lovers alike. Attitude and art is not only oil on canvas, but\u00a0it&#8217;s\u00a0the\u00a0unique talent that each one of us\u00a0possess. This\u00a0is everyone of us whether we are fence menders, authors, cleaning ladies, stonemasons, athletes, welders, teachers, shooters, leather crafters, woodcarvers or the windmill repair man. Keeping a positive outlook when I paint helps my artwork become a success in my mind&#8217;s eye. Happiness is imperative for me\u00a0to be able to\u00a0paint. Being an artist tends to be a emotional roller coaster; a ride I feel\u00a0I am becoming more comfortable with. I have to keep myself enthused while I paint. That is key to me. My bold brush strokes help relax me as I paint\u00a0allowing me\u00a0free motion\u00a0in using my brush as a conductor uses a baton. Yes, I am\u00a0composing my painting. Simplicity in brushstrokes is something I strive to achieve. I like to think this freedom\u00a0from affectation\u00a0gives my art a clean interesting look.\u00a0For me, it&#8217;s necessary to\u00a0connect emotionally with\u00a0the subjects I paint. Each of my subjects\u00a0becomes a part of myself I reveal only\u00a0in my art.\u00a0I am thinking of the art story that gives my art background; it&#8217;s my getting beyond reality by moving\u00a0my viewers emotionally. Writing, like art, sparks an outflow of thoughts as one digs deeper to convey personal\u00a0thoughts and emotions. With each\u00a0new composition,\u00a0I am learning, growing, and\u00a0constantly challenging myself to not just paint the easy subjects but to work\u00a0on those\u00a0difficult compositions that are emotional and tell\u00a0a part of my\u00a0story.<br \/>\nMy art is like my own\u00a0personal\u00a0jigsaw puzzle that snaps perfectly into place. Having family support as an artist is perhaps the most important piece of\u00a0my whole puzzle. I have to have their support\u00a0so I have\u00a0a relaxing and stress free environment to create art that flows easily from my brush.
